AQUA SOLUTIONS' Type II Reagent Grade Water Purification Systems

Type II reagent grade water is defined by ASTM as water that has greater than 1 megohm-cm resistivity. CAP and NCCLS define Type II water as having greater than 2 megohm-cm resistivity. Type II water is routinely used to wash and rinse glassware, either manually or in the final rinse cycle of an automatic glassware washer.

AQUA SOLUTIONS' Type II DI Systems are available in Single and Dual module versions for low and medium flow applications that require Type II DI water. Ultimately, dual-module systems cost less to operate.

They are also available as high-flow, high-capacity systems for glassware washer and other high-flow applications.

Better quality water - we use virgin (i.e., brand new) ion exchange resin and better quality tanks and fittings. Most other companies collect up used ion exchange resin and regenerate it in large batches. In some cases, there is no telling exactly where and how this resin was previously used. Regenerated resin can contain impurities from other locations and applications.

Higher capacity - virgin ion exchange resin has up to 40% more ion exchange capacity than regenerated DI resin.

No monthly rental charges - you purchase and own (not lease) the hardware from us at a reasonable cost.

No service charges - thanks to our snap-in, quick-disconnect fittings, you replace the DI tanks yourself in just minutes.

For point-of-use applications and low flow (3-6 liters/min) glassware washers:

Model 2618S1 has a flow rate of 3-Liters/Minute, and includes one installed DI tank plus one spare DI tank. Each DI tank contains 1/4 cu ft of virgin ion exchange resin, with a capacity of ~3,000 grains.

Model 2618S2 has a flow rate of 3-Liters/Minute, and includes two installed DI tanks plus one spare DI tank. Each DI tank contains 1/4 cu ft of virgin ion exchange resin, with a capacity of ~3,000 grains.

Model 2635S1 has a flow rate of 6-Liters/Minute, and includes one installed DI tank plus one spare DI tank. Each DI tank contains 1/2 cu ft of virgin ion exchange resin, with a capacity of ~6,000 grains.

Model 2635S2 has a flow rate of 6-Liters/Minute, and includes two installed DI tanks plus one spare DI tank. Each DI tank contains 1/2 cu ft of virgin ion exchange resin, with a capacity of ~6,000 grains.

High Flow Systems for Glassware Washers, and other high flow (7-40 liters/min) applications:

Model 2635S2-DW11 includes a 42-liter pressurized storage tank and has a flow rate of up to 15-Liters/minute. The system includes two installed DI tanks plus one spare DI tank. Each DI tank contains 1/2 cu ft of virgin ion exchange resin, with a capacity of ~6,000 grains.
Model 2635S2-DW includes a 130-Liter pressurized storage tank and has a flow rate of up to 40-Liters/minute. The system includes two installed DI tanks plus one spare DI tank. Each DI tank contains 1/2 cu ft of virgin ion exchange resin, with a capacity of ~6,000 grains.
